    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSBILITIES

    • Responsible for overseeing traffic control operations for our Valley Park, MO location.
    • Work together with the project team to create a mutual understanding of the project strategy based on the requirements of the job.
    • Conduct in-depth reviews and analysis of all project or contract documents to be familiar with every detail and/or requirements.
    • Work with safety units in a bid to plan and manage safety programs for each project and make sure that all aspects of safety are reached.
    • Help project managers and engineers in the arrangement and analysis of projects and scheduling of reports on projects.
    • Oversee projects as they are being carried out to make sure that the work is done according to outlined specifications, and that they also conform with project timetable.
    • Convey project needs from the project manager to the management of the firm. For example, in a case whereby extra funds are needed for the completion of a project, the project manager communicates the situation to the management of the company usually through the construction operations manager.
    • Capex analysis and strategic planning for the operations teams
    • Assist in the maintenance, development, and enhancement of the company's relationship with contractors in a bid to produce strategic partnership.
    • Train and mentor employees in areas of project management and estimating.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ years of leadership/operations management experience in the construction industry, road construction, traffic control and/or striping preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred.
    • Certified Associate in Project management, or other PM certifications preferred.
    • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where substantial standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
    • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Comprehensive mathematical skills.
    • Capable of reading engineer drawings, field layout, and reading/transfer survey.
    • Customer service- This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
    • Strong time management skills. Ability to multi-task and set priorities effectively.
    • Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills
    • Prioritizes and plans work activities; Uses time efficiently.
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills for effective delegation of tasks
    • Demonstrate initiative, a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
    • Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
    • Performance Management of direct report employees

    Traffic Control Company, an InfraStripe company, is headquartered in Valley Park, MO. Regional travel will be required.
