    Description

    Dispatchers play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations, managing driver schedules, and coordinating movements to meet customer demands seamlessly. They collaborate with Site Managers, Area Managers, customers, and third-party entities to optimize service efficiency.

    Job Description:

    • Apply transportation expertise.
    • Verify incoming shipment records.
    • Log shipments into the system.
    • Prepare documents.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
    • Record shipment data accurately.
    • Cross-check shipment contents.
    • Monitor trailer temperatures.
    • Document tractor, trailer, and seal numbers.
    • Allocate moves to drivers.
    • Inspect products for quality compliance.
    • Maintain meticulous records.
    • Demonstrate strong communication skills.
    • Utilize various software including Yard Management Systems, Microsoft Office tools, and collaboration platforms.
    • Manage driver time effectively.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
    • Resolve data entry issues.
    • Remain adaptable to handle daily challenges in trailer movements and operations.
    • Execute tasks as assigned by superiors.

    SHIFT: Tuesday-Saturday, 3pm to 12am, with rotating weekend coverage.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Proficiency in computer applications.
    • Adaptability to troubleshoot daily operational challenges.
    • Strong data entry skills.
    • Effective driver time management abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills using various mediums.
    • Problem-solving capabilities.
    • Preferable background in transportation and drayage.
