Gridiron IT is seeking a Data Visualization Analyst to join our team. This a U.S.-based role, not eligible for visa sponsorship. Hybrid role. Must be local to Norfolk, VA, or have active plans to relocate (please include this with your application). No relocation support is available. Interim or Active DoD SECRET Clearance is required.

Job Description Summary:
Develops, implements and supports the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage. Applies specific functional knowledge; working/general industry knowledge. Develops or contributes to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Works independently with some guidance. Bachelors degree and 2-4+ years of directly related experience or Masters degree and 0-2+ years directly related experience. Years of experience may be accepted in lieu of degree for certain roles. Certifications may be accepted in lieu of a degree for certain technical roles.

Key Role:

Design and prototype data visualization mechanisms and tools, producing and interpreting data visualizations to meet an organization's information needs and requirements.

Apply consulting skills and technical expertise to customer challenges and develop virtual dashboards built upon specialized software fed by multiple databases.

Identify, design, and execute visualization approaches and visually articulate cohesive analysis results. Conduct verification and validation of data, visualization models, and resulting visualizations. Work without considerable direction and mentor or supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in a professional environment Experience with data analytics and data visualization tools, including Tableau, QlikSense, or Microsoft Power BI Experience with scripting languages, including SQL or Python Experience using Microsoft Office Experience briefing techniques, methods, and findings to non-technical audiences Knowledge of operations research techniques, including probability and statistical methods Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with design, development, and visualization of mathematical, statistical, econometric, and other scientific methods and techniques Bachelor's degree in Economics, Operations Research, Management Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a Data Science related field

Clearance:
Secret Clearance (Interim Secret acceptable)

Hampton Roads proximity preferred to support hybrid/on-site support in Norfolk, VA
