    What will you need?

    Education:


    Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Human Services or related degree (such as Psychology, Family Studies, Counseling, Family Development, Family Systems Theory, or Human Resources Development).

    Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.

    Experience:
    Two - five years of experience in management/supervisory experience. Head Start/Early Head Start experience preferred, specifically in ERSEA Performance Standards if possible.

    Position Description:
    This position manages, supervises, plans, and coordinates the Enrollment (ERSEA) team, services and activities.

    This includes monitoring all the Enrollment (ERSEA) activities, staff and databases to ensure program compliance with set policies and procedures, the Head Start Performance Standards, NC Child Development and Early Education and other local/state/federal regulations.


    What You'll Do:


    Work closely with staff for the placement of children, and ensure funded child slots for all service areas are filled and appropriately tracked and recorded.

    Work with staff who recruit/enroll children to help ensure that program slots are filled according to the approved Enrollment Selection Criteria, EHS/HS guidelines and other funding requirements such as NC Pre-K.

    Ensure classrooms are full by monitoring drops and terminations, working closely with the Compliance & Family Services Manager, Children's Services Director, Early Intervention staff, Coaches and Managers/Supervisors for optimal placement of children.

    Chair and coordinate the child/family Recruitment Committee and activities.

    Stay abreast of Head Start ERSEA Performance Standards, NC Pre-K enrollment requirements and functionality of the NC PreK databases, and ChildPlus, as it relates to ERSEA data entry and reporting.

    Monitor, prepare, and distribute reports including monthly attendance analysis to ensure that or alerts if attendance falls below 85%. Submits HSES monthly and annual reports as requested. Maintains systems, databases, files, etc. ensuring security of data and confidentiality.

    Ensure all files within the ERSEA program have the appropriate signed consent forms and are readily available and accurately retained electronically.

    Develop and maintain professional relationships with community organizations that make referral for the enrollment of families/children into Children's Services programs.

    Collaborate with community organizations to collect and disseminate additional information, and arrange ancillary training and services for staff as needed.

    Assist in the recruitment of families to enroll in Children's Services programs.

    Through effective communications to the appropriate Children's Services staff, and following Head Start Performance Standards, ensure smooth transitions for all children and families into a center or out of the Home Visiting program.

    Actively engage in team collaboration meetings which can include center site team members,

    community partners and/or professional learning communities, and also may include collaborative

    meetings to support individual children.
    The Enrollment Coordinator Position

    is a non exempt, full time 12 month position from 7:30am to 5:30pm daily.
