- The Video Producer works as part of the larger Video Production team, creating video content for B&Hs YouTube channel and website.
- These videos cater to the B&Hs customers with first looks at new products, in-depth review videos, educational content, tradeshow coverage, livestream production, and more.
- A passionate, real-world understanding of photography, filmmaking, audio production, computer hardware, and consumer electronics plays a large role in creating quality content from beginning to end.
- Producers wear multiple hats, and can work anywhere from the scriptwriting stage, to the shooting and production, all the way to editing and finishing.
- Each member of the production team is expected to be familiar with multiple aspects of production, including but not limited to camera operation, grip and lighting, field recording, and set etiquette.
- Some producers may be tasked with hosting videos on-camera as well, speaking from a place of experience and genuine understanding of the product at hand to our audience.
- Video Producers will be responsible for the production and execution of videos as assigned by the Video Production Manager.
- The Producer will often write scripts for product reviews, and can confidently script, shoot, and edit a video on their own if needed.
