    As a


    Manufacturing/Mechanical Design Engineer , you will work cross-functionally throughout our organization to make meaningful improvements in the manufacture, safety, quality, cost, and efficiency of our world-class Industrial Vacuums, Hydro Excavators and Combination equipment business.

    Your leadership and process improvement skills will allow you to be on the forefront of process development, new technologies, and innovations that continuously increase the company's value to both our customers and our dedicated team of employee-owners.


    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead and execute


    multiple hands-on continuous improvement projects on our production floor to define and document processes, find answers, and provide training, and develop solutions to improve efficiency and quality.

    Document and Create

    work instructions for current products and processes. Utilizing CAD models, photography of products and feedback from process owners
    Drive change

    with strong organizational, communication, and technical skills.
    Identify and integrate tools and equipment

    to reduce costs, streamline processes, and increase throughput.
    Support production team

    with technical leadership and training.
    Other duties may be assigned.


    YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree
    Self-starter with Mechanical aptitude and passion to build products from the ground up.
    1-5 years of experience as a Manufacturing or Process Engineer in an industrial environment. New grad will be considered.
    An internal passion for helping people and improving processes.
    A bias for urgency and action through data-based decision making.
    Strong interpersonal and communication (written, oral and presentation) skills
    Fluent in CAD and ERP, including BOMS, travelers, and costing.
    Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Electrical Wiring (automotive) with sheet metal fabrication and welding in high mix/low volume production experience preferred.
