    Requirements

    The Director of Compliance will create, implement, train, and manage compliance policies and procedures per federal and state laws and regulations for assigned clinics. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of ASC and OBS compliance, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of ethical and legal conduct.

    Prior consulting experience in OBS or ASC and CASC a plus

    Role Responsibilities:
    • Oversees risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues
    • Develops and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and strengthen the organization's compliance posture
    • Partners with VP, Growth & Operations to create new policies and/or SOP's
    • Oversees preparation of QUADA inspections and accreditations of new and/or existing clinics
    • Actively performs in QUADA and state surveys as a company representative
    • Oversees that the compliance manuals are kept current for assigned clinics in alignment with state and QUADA requirements to include but not limited to bibles, QA/QI, CEU
    • Oversees platforms such as SurgLogs and Scripture
    • Drives education and achievement of clinic department goals, objectives, and processes to include but not limited to training of tenured staff and new staff
    • Identifies and selects compliance training for employees at all levels and oversees the successfully deployment of these trainings
    • Collaborates with appropriate departments to ensure compliance is met at all times by established policies and procedures
    • Conducts research and interprets statutes/regulations that require compliance across assigned clinics
    • Monitors changes in healthcare laws and regulations, guiding the organization to stay current
    • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, and legal, to address compliance issues and develop solutions
    • Acts as a liaison between the legal department and attorneys to research, identify, and provide all information or document requests from attorneys relating to legal matters
    • Actively assists in legal matters including but not limited to subpoenas, demand letters, an medical records requests
    • Manages the preparation and submission of timely reports on compliance activities, incidents, and corrective actions to senior management
    • Proactively escalates to the Director of Operations and/or VP, Growth & Operations any perceived obstacles, barriers, problems, or unusual circumstances for compliance measures and outcomes
    Education & Experience
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Certified ASC Administrator (CASC) preferred
    • Previous experience in healthcare, compliance or legal research is preferred
    • Strong understanding of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, and others
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    Travel Requirements
    • Up to 50% required to travel between out-of-state clinics
