    Manager / Senior Manager, Regulatory Affairs

    Our client – an electric utility based in the Midwest, is looking to fill the role of Manager/Senior, Regulatory Affairs.

    The position is responsible for the management, supervision and training of the Regulatory Accounting Services activities and staff.

    What you'll do:
    Prepare and support rate case activities, focusing on accounting adjustments and rate case process support including preparation of all revenue requirement models
    Regulatory reporting activities associated with state regulatory compliance activities
    All other state or jurisdictional reporting requirements in accounting/finance focus areas
    Regular accounting processing and reporting associated with regulatory assets, regulatory liabilities, pension and benefit accounting


    What you will need:
    Bachelor's Degree with Accounting or Finance major
    Eight plus years' experience in utility or public accounting including FERC Form 1 and 3-Q reporting, completion, research and compliance
    Revenue requirement modeling experience
    Supervisory or management experience
    Advanced degree, project management and energy industry experience preferred
