    Job Description Job Description A Supervisor, Quality plays an important role in ensuring that the products manufactured meet the required quality standards.

    This role ensures that we are upholding and improving the quality standards of the plant, ultimately contributing to the company's reputation, customer satisfaction, and profitability.


    Job Responsibilities Quality Control:
    Supervising and coordinating quality control activities throughout the manufacturing process. This involves inspecting parts, products, and processes to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.


    Process Improvement:
    Identifying areas for process improvement to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and increase efficiency. This may involve implementing new procedures, tools, or technologies to improve quality control processes.


    Training and Development:
    Providing training to manufacturing personnel on quality control procedures, standards, and best practices. Ensuring that all employees understand their roles in maintaining product quality and meeting quality objectives.


    Quality Assurance:
    Developing and implementing quality assurance processes to prevent defects and errors in the manufacturing process. This may involve creating quality control plans, conducting audits, and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.


    Supplier Quality Management:
    Collaborating with suppliers to ensure that raw materials and components meet quality standards. This may involve conducting supplier audits, evaluating supplier performance, and working with suppliers to resolve quality issues.

    Education:

    (Coursework in quality management, statistical process control, lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma can be beneficial.) Prior experience in quality control or quality assurance roles within the automotive manufacturing industry is highly desirable.

    Candidates should have demonstrated experience in leading quality improvement initiatives, implementing quality control processes, and managing quality assurance activities. Experience with automotive quality standards such as ISO/TS 16949, IATF 16949, or similar quality management systems is typically required. Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes, including injection molding, stamping, machining, assembly, and testing, is advantageous.#J-18808-Ljbffr
