    Job DescriptionJob descriptionDIESEL MECHANIC ACME DISTRIBUTION CENTER in Denver, PA, a division of Albertsons Companies, is one of the largest food and drug retailers with 2,300+ stores.

    If you are interested in working for a company where you can use your current skills and learn new skills, then ACME may have a career opportunity for you We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our skilled team at the Lancaster Distribution Center located in Denver, PA.

    Positions offer a competitive benefit package and a $2,500 sign on bonus For a new hire, the first 2 weeks would be Monday-Friday working 06:00 to 14:30.

    After 2 weeks -4-day 10-hour schedule. The days would be Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday working 06:00-16:30, 14:00-00:30, or 21:00-07:30.

    #LI-SS2 Job Responsibilities:

    Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks
    • Combo.
    Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues Answer driver's telephone request for assistance with equipment failure while out on the road Maintain and repair all equipment to include engine, starting and charging, electrical, body, wheels, brakes, suspension, and interior.


    Qualifications:
    Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy duty tractor/trailer repair. May require valid DOT physical card and a driver's license.

    May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
