    Description

    Exciting opportunity at a leading Snack Food manufacturing company! They are in search of a 2nd Shift Quality Supervisor for their Broadview, IL location.

    DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:

    3rd shift option is also on the table.

    • Supervise and support your team in meeting objectives and goals.
    • Expertise in training on Statistical Quality Control and Statistical Process Control.
    • Managing daily lab operations and troubleshooting challenges.
    • Promote total quality practices within the Quality Control Department.
    • You will be actively involved in daily operations, spending 95% of your time on the production floor collaborating with technicians and plant personnel.
    • Flexibility in working hours as per company requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to SQF and other pertinent standards.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

    • 2-3+ years of quality assurance experience in food manufacturing.
    • Bonus points for previous experience in a bakery setting.
    • Prior experience in a leadership role within quality assurance.
    • Proficiency in various quality aspects of the food industry such as GMP's, lot code tracking, and product quality monitoring.
    • Being bilingual (English/Spanish) is a positive attribute.
    • Self-driven individual with keen attention to detail.
    • Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Proficient in problem-solving and analyzing situations, willingness to learn new technologies.
    • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing work, and enhancing overall quality standards.
