    Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center is seeking a locum psychiatrist specializing in behavioral medicine to cover available shifts as soon as credentialed.

    **Job Details**:

    Our Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Facility requires a board-certified psychiatrist to cover the following duties:

    **Key Responsibilities**:
    • Provide psychiatric care to adults with various mental health conditions
    • Care for an average of 8 patients per weekday and 16-20 patients on weekends
    • Work in a team of 3 psychiatrists, with no supervision responsibilities
    • Utilize EPIC documentation system
    • Collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed


    **Requirements**:

    To be considered for this opportunity, you must have the following qualifications:

    **Essential Requirements**:
    • Board certification in psychiatry
    • Licensure to practice medicine in Virginia
    • A clean background check


    **Additional Information**:

    The facility has implemented various safety and security measures, including locked facilities, CPI-trained staff, campus police rounding, and the ability to call a code. You will also have experience with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, pharmacotherapy, and restraint application. Patient demographics include adults aged 18 and above with various mental health conditions.
