ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Florence, SC. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing tailored education plans and support to students with special needs, ensuring their academic and personal growth. Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Provide direct instruction in various subjects, including literacy, mathematics, and life skills.
• Collaborate with other educators, therapists, and support staff to address students' academic and behavioral needs.
• Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student performance and IEP goals.
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders to discuss student progress and address concerns.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• State teaching certification in Special Education.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and create a positive learning environment.
