- Develop and execute strategic plans and policies aimed at enhancing nursing care quality and boosting clinical star ratings.
- Create and implement training and auditing initiatives to ensure each center's adherence to clinical systems.
- Monitor and analyze clinical dashboards and informatics reports to pinpoint areas of clinical risk, offering guidance and support to address concerns.
- Prepare clinical leadership for surveys and manage survey-related activities.
- Coach clinical leaders on conducting investigations and developing corrective action plans.
- Assess nursing practices and procedures, identifying areas for enhancement and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Provide consultation on the customization, expansion, and updates of the organization's electronic medical record system.
- Collaborate with executive leadership team members to accomplish organizational objectives.
- Cultivate a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and professional growth opportunities for nursing staff.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with administrators, nursing directors, and other leaders to ensure cohesive and effective resident care.
- Stay informed about nursing industry trends and best practices, integrating them into affiliated centers.
- Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing directors in partnership with regional nurse consultants and administrators.
- Develop and manage quality assurance programs to enhance resident outcomes.
- Serve as a mentor and role model for nursing leadership, promoting compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the nursing department and other departments within the organization
- Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform any additional assigned duties.
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with multi-state status.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is required; Master's preferred.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in skilled nursing centers is required; including experience as senior clinical leader responsible for clinical outcomes.
- Demonstrated proficiency in communication and presentation, with strong writing abilities.
- Advanced knowledge/skill of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), computer hardware and computer servers.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for handling confidential information with discretion.
- Meticulous attention to detail in data management, composing documents, and meeting deadlines.
- Strong spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team while also being capable of independent work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
