We are working with one of the nation's largest for-profit health systems on a business critical legal hire. The client is looking for a Healthcare Transactions Counsel with expertise in hospital M&A transactions to oversee and support future mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, and divestitures.

This dynamic health system is seeking a new member of their corporate team that thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to innovate and continue to improve the team.

*Role will require some on-site presence the first month and can transition to remote*

Requirements:

• 5+ years of healthcare transactional experience at a law firm or a combination of law firm and in-house (hospital M&A preferred)
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investments
• Well-versed on healthcare regulations and compliance
• Ability to be on-site near Los Angeles on a hybrid basis

Responsibilities:

• Support and advise on transactions
• Complete transaction due diligence
• Draft and review agreements and terms for transactions
• Work cross-functionally with corporate team members in different departments
