- Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology or related field
- Main responsibility will be sample extractions
- Pipetting of reagents; taking three different tubes with different reagents solutions to make a bulk master mix sample
- Putting master mix samples onto 96 well PCR plate with DNA traits
- May help with running the PCR and some computer work
- May help with storing plates in the 'blue' boxes that are put into a freezer for 1 month; will also discard old samples
- Understanding of SOPs
