- Maintain relationship with the management and engineering staff to update work orders.
- Professionally and effectively interact with tenant Facility personnel
- Effectively perform or direct to be performed routine building maintenance and repair tasks
- Operate building systems, including but not limited to; HVAC BAS, access and lighting controls, fire and life safety systems
- Have strong, demonstrated experience operating and troubleshooting HVAC systems and controls, especially water source heat pumps
- Develop and maintain a courteous and service-oriented rapport with all customers (tenants, building occupants, vendors, clients, co-workers)
- Have demonstrated proficiency and experience in utilizing current technology tools (hardware and software)
- SMA Engineering Course (Recommended)
- BOMA Engineering School (Recommended)
- High School Diploma or Equivalentand a minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or trade school training
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience and/or trade school training
- Apprentice or Maintenance electrical license preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with WSHP systems
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in commercial building maintenance or related industry Skills

The Building Engineer will utilize advanced skills to perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings systems, equipment, and groundsWorking under limited supervision monitors building system operations and performance
Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
Aids in the ordering, stocking and inventory of parts and supplies as directed by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
Uses personal computer and/or phone for work order system, email, BAS, and training
Hourly wages commensurate with experience per year per hour
Full-Time
