    Description

    Anne Arundel Gastroenterology Associates (AAGA), a Covenant Physician Partner, located in beautiful Annapolis, Maryland, is looking for a Fulltime Scope Reprocessing Technicianto join our talented and growing team.

    About the Opportunity

    Under general direction from the Center Manager, the Scope Reprocessing Technician is responsible for the proper cleaning and high-level disinfection and maintenance of all video endoscopes and other accessories used in the GI Endoscopy suites.

    Other duties include:

    • Cleans equipment and instruments used as per policy.
    • Cleans and disinfects endoscopes per policy.
    • Observes universal precautions.
    • Refers situations beyond ability or function to proper person.
    • Participates in QA/Safety Program.
    About the Candidate

    Minimum Requirements:
    • High school graduate preferred with one or more years of related work experience in gastroenterology or endoscopy.
    • Able to read, write and communicate.
    • Displays a primary interest in giving good patient care and maintaining standards of courtesy and friendliness to co-workers.
    • Current certification in BLS.
