**General Manager, Philadelphia**

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania / Operations / Full Time Food Rocket is a San Francisco-based FoodTech startup that provides the fastest grocery delivery in the US, promising door-to-door delivery within 10-15 minutes of placing an order. Its business model is based on AI-enabled technologies to manage inventory, forecast demand, and optimize delivery time by predicting the closest micro fulfillment center that offers the fastest delivery time and the lowest fulfillment and delivery cost. The startup is competing with the biggest players in the market DoorDash, GoPuff, Amazon Fresh, InstaCart.

+ Track record of successfully operating complex business initiatives

+ Understanding of the IT business, e-commerce, e-grocery, restaurant food delivery, retail, supply chain management, construction, start-up operations or a consulting background

+ High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.

+ Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases. Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others

+ Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; general manager / owner mentality

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, Technology, Business Management or related field is required

+ 10+ years of product and/or business experience, 5+ years of managing large/ complex teams

+ Data Analysis and Reporting

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**

+ Master's Degree preferred

+ E-grocery experience with quantifiable results

+ Project Management proficiency

+ Ability to audit, whilst looking around corners

+ Management consulting

+ Fluent English

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

+ Define and execute strategy of the company in a market

+ Day-to-day management of company's activities

+ Prioritize and manage of cross-functional and cross-border teams on multiple fronts

+ Fully understand unit-economics and own PnL and budget of the business in a market

+ Lead discussions with senior leadership

+ Address company's strategic and operational challenges in the market

+ Continuously improve the efficiency of operations and supply processes

+ Instill a culture of customer obsession, aiming for excellent customer service
