BCForward is currently seeking for a highly motivated Lead Financial Analyst for a hybrid Opportunity in Minnesota.

Position Title: Lead Financial Analyst

Location: Eagan, MN

Anticipated Start Date: 05/20/2024.

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Contract Lead Senior Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, advanced financial acumen, and a proven track record of driving strategic decision-making through financial analysis.

Responsibilities:

Lead budgeting and forecasting activities: Oversee the development of annual budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Consolidate and review budgeting, forecast, and quarterly financial reporting (QFR) materials: Gather and analyze financial data from various business units, providing comprehensive insights to support decision- making processes.
Analyze budget and forecast variances: Identify key drivers of variance and communicate findings to the leadership team, offering actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Perform cost analysis: Conduct detailed cost-benefit analyses for capital projects, evaluating investment opportunities and providing strategic recommendations to optimize resource allocation.
Review & assist in preparing QFR packages: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to compile comprehensive QFR packages for distribution to corporate and senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Extract and analyze data: Utilize advanced analytical tools and techniques to extract, manipulate, and interpret data, providing meaningful insights and decision support to senior management.
Identify and implement process improvements: Continuously assess existing financial processes and systems, identifying opportunities for standardization, efficiency gains, and waste elimination.
Lead and coordinate finance technology initiatives: Partner with IT and finance teams to drive the

implementation of new financial systems and tools, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting.
Advanced knowledge of financial systems and tools, such as ERP systems and BI software.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing cross-functional teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex business problems.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
