Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain core business applications used by large enterprises on mainframe platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using COBOL, JCL, Assembler, or other mainframe languages.
• Collaborate with business analysts, system engineers, and other developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Debug and troubleshoot complex application issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing of mainframe applications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies related to mainframe development.
• Document code clearly and concisely to ensure maintainability.
• May participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
