Job Summary

The Manager, Market Sales is responsible for leading a team of sales professionals within a defined geographic area. They oversee day-to-day sales operations to ensure consistent and profitable new patient acquisitions; they create strategies and action plans to drive both short and long-term sales earnings.

This role requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales and relationship sales, with a proven track record of driving growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

Directly supervises a team of sales professionals to ensure sales goals are met or exceeded.
Leads all aspects of team management including selection, onboarding, performance management, and engagement.

Sales Strategy

Creates strategies and action plans to drive short and long-term sales earnings.
Develops plans and tactics to ensure new patient acquisition.

Community Engagement

Establishes personal contact and rapport with key local communities serving Medicare-eligible seniors.
Leverages connections to increase community events and overall engagement with seniors living around Centers.

Collaboration

Collaborates with Regional Sales Director to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines and accepted health insurance plans.
Works closely with sales leadership to establish and control budgets for community and broker events.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.

Experience

A minimum of 7 years of sales experience required; a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role leading a sales team of direct reports required.

Skills

Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Extensive experience in sales and relationship sales.
Ability to use Salesforce.
Strong problem-solving, time management, organizational, and analytical skills.
Ability to present data and analysis to a variety of stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
