    Job DescriptioncFocus Software is seeking a Senior Software Architect to join our Cross Domain Solutions program in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Secret Clearance.
    Qualifications:
    • Active Secret Clearance.
    • Must have a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in developing system design solutions that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis.
    • 8+ years of experience in developing derived requirements for Information Assurance Services (Confidentiality, Integrity, Nonrepudiation, and Availability); Basic Information Assurance Mechanisms; and Security Mechanism Technology.
    • Able to direct fulfillment of requirements from inception to conclusion of project.
    • Able to direct development of complex database systems including schema and architectural design.
    • Experience using Cloud methodologies.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical staff.
    • Enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures.
    • Assess and mitigate system security threats/risks throughout the program life cycle.
    • Contribute to the security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management, certification and awareness activities for system and networking operations.
    • Review certification and accreditation (C&A) documentation, providing feedback on completeness and compliance of its content.
    • Perform system installation, configuration maintenance, account maintenance, signature maintenance, patch management, and troubleshooting of operational IA and CND systems.
    • Apply system security engineering expertise in one or more of the following to : system security design process; engineering life cycle; information domain; cross domain solutions; commercial off-the-shelf and government off-the-shelf cryptography; identification; authentication; and authorization; system integration; risk management; intrusion detection; contingency planning; incident handling; configuration control; change management; auditing; certification and accreditation process; principles of IA (confidentiality, integrity, nonrepudiation, availability, and access control); and security testing
