    9th Way Insignia's Project Management Office (PMO) sets, maintains, and ensures standards for project management across the firm. The PMO are the keepers of best practices, project status and direction. 9th Way Insignia has an opening for a Sr. Consultant, PMO Data and Tools Lead.

    The PMO Data and Tools Lead will support business functions, corporate activities, process and system analysis, stakeholder reporting, performance measures and reporting, and provide recommendations to ensure that the organization is making the best use of people, resources, and time. Throughout all efforts, the PMO Data and Tools Lead will ensure a high level of customer service both internally to our programs and externally to our clients. When necessary, the PMO Data and Tools Lead is expected to articulate alternative solutions or actions that can help the company achieve stated objectives and goals. Routine deliverables may include a variety of data-derived reports, detailed process maps and business process procedure documentation, briefings and white papers. The PMO Data and Tools Lead will work with the PMO team, program and project managers, financial and procurement professionals, and subject matter experts to define requirements, work products and methodologies.

    Responsibilities:
    • Works with PMO Director and other leaders to translate solutioning/vision strategies into draft operational products for team refinement.
    • Responsible for the PMO Process Asset Library (PAL) to include version control, artifact reviews, and updates. Additionally, responsible providing guidance for and approval/rejection of changes suggested by stakeholders as applicable within established guidelines. When necessary, coordinates with the PMO Director (PAL Owner) to gain approval for significant artifact changes, additions, or removals.
    • Provides backup support to the PMO Director during heavy workload times by managing PMO team member assignments and consolidating and communicating information to senior leaders.
    • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of various requirements and data tracking tools; ensuring leaders across the organization can make data driven decisions.
    • Works closely with the PMO Director, Director of Operations and senior management to identify opportunities to leverage existing resources and personnel to gain efficiencies and lower overall costs.
    • In support of PMO and delivery quality assurance initiatives, reviews and analyzes various information sources, schedules, systems, forecasts, processes, and tools to optimize day to day team performance.
    • Works as a member of the team to identify, solution and ultimately resolve barriers for successful company and project performance. Determines and advocates for the most effective use of company resources (money, people, systems, and time).
    • Acts as a "force-multiplier" for task leads and project managers. Efforts here include researching issues, running down solutions with internal stakeholders, supporting relevant PM tasks to prevent missed deadlines or because of unexpected workload.
    • When necessary, advocates for alternative solutions and/or actions to help the team to understand how to meet objectives and goals. Serves as the PMO SME consulting Project teams about available resources.
    • Responsible for managing reporting schedules and ensuring that internal project reporting meets delivery timeline.
    • Works collaboratively with delivery leads to ensure they adhere to established and newly formed processes.
    • Serves as a surge resource to help the operations team initiate new contracts and projects. Tasks include drafting and reviewing deliverables, meeting with customers, capturing meeting minutes and actions and developing work schedules.
    • Participates in PMO meetings, project meetings and ad hoc calls by preparing agendas, capturing and distributing meeting minutes.
    • Provides inputs to continuous improvement process.
    • Demonstrates the organization's values and focus items; performs tasks and actions to support the company.
    • Utilizes templates to draft project documents, such as draft kickoff decks, project management templates, deliverable lists. Updates or improves products as necessary.
    • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to track and complete actions.
    • Responsible for PMO level quality control reviews of IDIQ reports: submitted on time, formatting, cleanliness of content. Elevates any anomalies to the PMO Director for review and resolution with the Project Managers.
    • Follows existing processes to update trackers, Visio graphics, lists, process documents and Teams sites.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Requirements:

    • Possess an excellent ability to communicate across different groups and levels within the organization, being an active listener and a concise and accurate speaker/writer.
    • Confidence and experience dealing with senior leadership. Self-starter that is customer focused, dedicated to meeting the needs of Federal Government.
    • Ability to work with multi-faceted and often geographically disparate teams.
    • Fluency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and collaboration tools.
    • Basic familiarity with ISO certifications and CMMI Models
    • Demonstrable experience working with various types of contract, including IDIQs.
    • Ability to collaborate with diverse times and work effectively in fast-paced, time sensitive, and often multi-tasking environment.


    Preferred:
    • Four plus years of PMO experience.
    • PMI Certification
    • CMMI Associate Certification


    Salary Range:

    The salary range for this position is $74, $75,000.00 per year.

    9th Way Insignia's range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
