Role Overview

As a Quality Engineer, you will work with Product and Engineering teams to help us develop and test the next generation of our products This person will help test new features, create automated functional and performance testing, and support the Engineering team in quality assurance.

You will build out our testing infrastructure from the ground up and have a large impact on the success of our product.

This is a high-ownership opportunity to help us rebuild an entire industry by changing the way people work

Functions of the Role

Reviewing functional and design requirements to ensure a full understanding of individual deliverables while enabling the development of good test scenarios

Providing clear test cases with traceability to requirements and defects

Identifying product and design defects and outlining the appropriate path to solutions through cross-collaboration with the Product and Engineering team

Helping enable the delivery of high quality software that matches technical requirements, in a time frame that matches business needs

Perform manual testing and create test cases or automation test scripts depending on the needs of the team

Implement a strategic framework for software testing in the lifecycle of our development process

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in a software testing and QA environment

Strong experience in both manual and automation testing

Experience writing test cases and test scripts for web and mobile applications

Foundational programming experience

Ability to architect repeatable, scalable process for software testing

Functional Programming experience a plus

BS in Computer Science a plus
