    the role of Assistant Vice President of Production Underwriting.

    As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Production Underwriting, you'll be based in California and play a pivotal role in our success


    Team Leadership :
    You'll lead our production underwriting team, ensuring they deliver exceptional results.
    Building and maintaining strong broker relationships will be a key aspect of your role.

    Reporting Structure :
    You'll report directly to our Senior Vice President of Underwriting Operations.
    Accountable for the risk selection/rejection, pricing, retention, growth, and profitability decisions made by the production underwriting team
    Assesses risk quality and compliance with company guidelines and initiates appropriate loss prevention activities

    Ensures adequate numbers of visits are conducted with agents, brokers, and producers to retain existing accounts, build and maintain business relationships, and develop new opportunities
    Responsible for the performance and coaching of staff and decisions regarding talent selection, development and performance management
    Experience managing employees (7+ years preferred) to achieve successful business outcomes
    Ability to manage and develop talent
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Liberal Arts, or related discipline preferred
