Bartender - Greenwich

Job summary

SGA is seeking to hire an exclusive team of experienced bartenders in the Greenwich, CT Area. The Bartender will be tasked with preparing, serving, and mixing various drinks to meet the preferences of our clients' guests.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a positive manner while efficiently preparing and serving beverages.
• Take drink orders, handle payment transactions, and process credit cards.
• Follow standard recipes to prepare both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Garnish drinks with fruits and maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
• Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards.
• Assist in restocking bar inventory and supplies.
• Provide recommendations on drink selections and answer customer inquiries.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have a current Food Handler's Card, or ability obtain, where applicable.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience in food and beverage service.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, wines, beers, and drink mixing techniques.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in handling transactions and operating a cash register.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
