Description

The Environmental Services Shift Manager oversees the EVS/PAD daily operations of the floor, employees, and daily administrative duties and is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and environmental compliance of the casino facility.

This role involves supervising a team of environmental services staff, implementing cleaning protocols, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment for guests and employees.

• Oversee daily operations associated with the assigned shift, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct frequent inspections of all public areas, offices, back-of-the-house, and Casino to maintain a high standard of cleanliness.
• Develop and implement effective schedules and labor management strategies to optimize staff performance and operational efficiency.
• Utilize strong organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Provide effective training, coaching, and leadership to the EVS team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in EVS, Housekeeping, or related field.

• Similar resort environment experience.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the environmental services or housekeeping field.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to train, coach, and lead a team effectively.
• Knowledge of computer software and utility porter equipment.
