    Job Description Job Description Pay:
    $85, $100,000.00 per year.
    Good working knowledge of fabrication processes and equipment in a tube bending and welding facility.

    Some CNC mill and welding knowledge extremely helpfulMust be able to read and create basic drawings with tolerances and sub-assemblies.

    Familiar with lean manufacturing principles in a high-volume assembly environmentBasic understanding of QC processes and metricsGood Systems experience with BOM, routers and costing within a main frame-based platform.

    Outlook, excel, solid works and surf cam (or equivalent) experience / knowledge required.5+ years experience in a manufacturing and distribution environmentThe ability to take on new projects and process improvements.2 years of technical or on the job training in the above job categoriesAA or equivalent in Engineering or closely related technical field.

    Demonstrated work history of progressively increasing responsibility.
    Must be very adept at using SolidWorks, CAD/CAM and other engineering software.

    Solid research and design experience utilizing contemporary design methods including parts standardization, 3D modeling and testing methodology based on engineering principles.

    Ability to work well with others in an office and manufacturing shop environment, possess good work ethics, and a positive attitude.

    A satisfactory pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check is required.

    ResponsibilitiesThe Manufacturing Engineer will also be working with Sales on the most efficient ways to produce products given the current fabrication equipment/processes.

    In general, the expectation for this position will be factory improvements, product manufacturing integration, costing and BOM/Routing set-up.
    Improve manufacturing documentation in process routing, costing and BOM implementation.
    Train production employees on defined assembly process, using work instructions developed by engineering.
    Perform load test and create detail report on findings and recommendations to improve product.
    Learn and develop skills as the backup programmer for CNC routers, laser and robotic equipment.

    Improve basic work procedures for the operations team along with basic QC instructions (if applicable)Improve flow and productivity in the operations areas.

    Working with Tooling and Production on determining optimum equipment and tooling needs to reduce cost and lead-times.
    Coordinating with Production on the best manufacturing processes that reduce cost and improve flow.
    Engineering problem solving of client and product issues.
    Resolution of quality issued having to do with manufacturing and design.
