- Responsible for coordinating with the Director of Housing Operations on all housing operations including furniture inventory and replacement program, damage billing, budgeting, check in/out procedures, safety and security programs, maintenance and upkeep of facilities and Cleary management.
- Provide leadership, professional development, and ongoing support to all aspects of a residence life program. This includes supervision and support of a graduate resident director, resident assistants, and work-study students.
- Provide leadership and oversight of all departmental initiatives to ensure that processes are clear, student-focused, innovative, and outcome driven. This includes ongoing program review and assessment of desired outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison to contract and internal service providers including dining services, safety and security, facilities and maintenance, financial affairs, and housing/leasing agencies.
- Provide first level conduct adjudication for students at the Long Island residence hall.
- Oversee and participate in response to students of concern issues, including coordinating the "on-call" emergency response/crisis management system, serving on the university's crisis management team, and addressing conduct and community standards violations.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
