Job Overview:
Outdoor Custom Sportswear, L.L.C. is based in Overland Park, KS. We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our growing team as an SAP Specialist.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Administer, monitor, and maintain SAP / Warehouse Management systems, including Business One and S/4HANA.Utilize SAP and SQL skills to manage and optimize databases, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
Develop, implement, and maintain SAP and SQL-based applications and systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP and SQL platforms.
Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their proficiency in utilizing SAP and SQL tools effectively.
Perform server administration tasks, research event-log warnings and errors, and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.
Setup and upgrade SAP and related servers and systems, including EDI integrations.Work with internal and external partners to manage and communicate project status, activities, and achievements.
Assist other team members with troubleshooting to identify root cause and provide technical support as appropriate.
Assist with defining the objectives of improvements, including developing and reviewing proposals and presentations.
Occasional travel to our Warehouse and Production sites in Grandview, MO.Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) in information technology or computer science5 years of hands-on experience with SAP and SQL systems management.
Knowledge of database design and management best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a smaller team environment.
Willingness to travel occasionally to Grandview company sites for on-site support and collaboration.
Experience in project management, application implementation and integration.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record within MVR guidelinesPreferred Skills:
Warehouse Management Software (WMS) application support experienceExperience with ScriptingProfessional certifications SAP and MS SQL
