Job Title: Teradata Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Teradata Developer to join our team and contribute to our data management and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Teradata database development, with expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing Teradata solutions to meet business requirements. Additionally, experience with DBC or metadata tables, Azure cloud, and Databricks will be valuable for this role

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Teradata Developer or similar role, with at least 7+ years of hands-on experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Teradata architecture, utilities, and tools, including SQL Assistant, BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, Fast Export, and Teradata Administrator.
• Strong SQL programming skills, with the ability to write complex queries and optimize query performance.
• Experience with performance tuning techniques for Teradata databases, including query optimization, indexing, and workload management.
• Familiarity with DBC or metadata tables for monitoring and optimizing Teradata database performance.
• Experience working with Azure cloud services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in using Databricks for data engineering and analytics tasks.
• Proficiency in ETL development using Teradata utilities or third-party tools such as Informatica, Talend, or DataStage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Teradata certification(s) are a plus.

Education:

Bachelor's Degree and equivalent work experience.
