    Cut Bill & BOM Specialist

    Location: Grabill, IN

    Wood Technologies, LLC is a woman-owned manufacturer specializing in custom commercial store fixtures, architectural millwork, and commercial cabinetry. Our work is seen in high-end spaces nationwide, from retail chains to healthcare and hospitality environments.

    We are seeking a Cut Bill & BOM Specialist to join our growing Design/Engineering team. This role is the backbone of our production documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in every project.

    If you have experience developing cut bills, bills of materials, and production documentation for millwork or cabinetry projects, we want to hear from you.


    Key Responsibilities

    · Develop detailed cut bills from shop drawings, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, grain direction, and material yield

    · Create comprehensive BOMs including hardware, finishes, adhesives, and fasteners

    · Collaborate with designers, project managers, and fabricators to clarify specs and resolve discrepancies

    · Optimize material usage to reduce waste and control costs

    · Maintain documentation standards aligned with industry best practices (AWI, LEED, etc.)

    · Assist in estimating and procurement coordination when needed


    Qualifications

    · Minimum 2 years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, or manufacturing documentation

    · Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, Inventor preferred)

    · Strong understanding of wood materials, sheet goods, and hardware components

    · Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and shop plans

    · Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

    · Familiarity with ERP systems or production planning tools is a plus
