    Requirements

    The Grill at The Links is the main restaurant of the property and serves both The Links and the Lakehouse Hotel.
    • LINE COOK

      THE DUTIES OF A LINE/PREP COOK INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
      • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
      • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
      • SERV Safe Certified
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Proven working experience as a cook.
      • Possess strong cooking skills, particularly in the saut method.
      • Preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and meal plans
      • Preparing sauces, soups, and other food items using standard recipes and methods
      • Preparing special dishes or meals for guests with special dietary needs or restrictions
      • Keeping clean work environment
      • Saut and Grill experience required.
      WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING?
      • Cook dishes to business standards.
      • Follow recipes and create a consistent product.
      • Follow health and safety guidelines.
      • Prepare ingredients for use during shift.
      • Follow directions from Chef.
      • Set up workstations.
      • Cooking a variety of dishes using the saut method, including meats, seafood, sauces, and vegetables.
