    Program Manager, Alaska Operations
    The Program Manager, Alaska Operations will manage ABL's launch site out of Kodiak, AK. . This individual will be the point person for organizing ABL activities at Pacific Spaceport Complex Alaska.

    They will coordinate schedules with Launch and Test and act as the tie between ABL Finance/Legal teams and Spaceport operations.

    They will also manage large infrastructure projects and upgrades to the Kodiak site in conjunction with the site development team.

    This role will require coordinating and attending on site meetings, and site surveys as needed across ABL's facilities and launch sites in Alaska.

    The program manager should be able to develop a programmatic playbook that the rest of ABL can follow in order to achieve fluid and consistent operations within Alaska.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Lead the Alaska operations program, acting as the point of contact for external partners and spaceports
    Work with Shipping/Receiving and spaceport on logistics
    Keep internal schedules up to date and communicated across teams and space port
    Personnel deployment in conjunction with campaign management with Launch and Test
    Hold spaceport and other external vendors responsible for deliverables
    Work with Legal team and management to ensure any contractual obligations are being met as part of ABL's deployment
    Work with Site Development team to plan and manage large infrastructure upgrades including timeline and budgets
    Collaborate with ABL internal teams to accurately capture their needs and provide solutions
    Work with governing bodies to make sure any permitting is completed and up to date for projects
    Maintain an organized workflow to track projects and their status
    Travel to other ABL sites across the world to support other program operations as needed


    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:


    Bachelor's degree in facilities management, construction management, business, or another related field from an accredited university (or 7+ years of total experience in the field).


    • 5 years of program management experience running physical sites or logistics for a large operation.
    • 3 years of experience working with finance and legal teams, tracking spending or KPIs.

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
    Previous spaceport, or oil and gas management
    Experience with contract negotiations
    Previous experience developing new programs
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office Suite
    Experience with working and coordinating across multiple teams
    Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    Ability to manage outside vendors and hold them responsible for metrics

    While performing the duties, the employee will typically work in an office environment but may be required to work in the felid to update, or maintain drawings.

    $115,000 - $175,000 a year


    The salary range for this role is $115,000 - $175,000.This is the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.

    We mayultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may bemodified in the future.

    An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

    ITAR Requirement

    This position requires access to information protected under US export control laws, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.
