TITLE: Contract Services Group, DAY PORTER 

DEPARTMENT: Day Porter Department 

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager 

Compensation: $17.50- $18.00  

Position Summary: The Contract Services Group is looking for a dedicated worker that takes pride in their work and ensures that all the public areas are maintained tidy. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be in charge of keeping all the public facilities in clean condition and promoting a positive friendly image to our guests. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Day Porter 

Clean all public areas to the standards required

To clean and maintain all equipment daily

To assist Guests in Public Areas when required

Post caution signs when required

Responsible for the upkeep of all the equipment used

Complete deep cleaning projects, as required

Report injuries, damage, or missing items to the Public Area Supervisor

Knowledge and Requirements of the Day Porter 

A commitment to delivering high levels of service with attention to detail

Strong work ethic Use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times

Knowledge of standard methods, practices, tools, and equipment of the Public Area Attendant cleaning industry

Integrity and capability to work independently

Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals

Ability to perform all duties as required with or without an accommodation

Available to work weekends and/or holidays

Must be able to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, and handling objects up to 50 lbs.
