    What You Will Do

    The primary focus of this position is to work at the Duke University location and assist with moving & installing furniture.

    You will need to display a professional appearance, a positive attitude, to show initiative, and a willingness to learn. This position allows the person to enhance their knowledge, ability, and speed of systems furniture, and case goods. Good interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.


    • Unloading, staging, and uncrating of product.

    • Inspect the product and notating any damage.

    • Preps the job site for installation.

    • Reads and understands delivery tickets and product tagging information.

    • Manage the cleanup and trash removal of the site and Storr truck.

    • Complete assigned tasks without constant supervision.

    • Adhere to the company dress code and safety procedures.

    • Maintain a professional and courteous attitude at all times.

    • Maintain a complete set of tools at all times.

    • Complete timesheets and other required paperwork/reports on a timely basis.

    • Assist other departments within Storr as needed.

    • Responsible for the purchase price and maintenance of tools required for the tasks in this position

    Education and/or Experience


    • Ability to follow instructions completely and successfully.

    • Basic decision-making skills. Strong attention to detail
