    The Technical Project Leader will support program managers by providing program-level assistance to the Systems Integration & Installation programs to ensure deliverables and performance parameters are met

    In this Technical Project Leader role, you will:

    • Manage and coordinate technical and administrative staff by assigning, scheduling, prioritizing, coordinating, and facilitating multiple tasks.
    • Evaluate performance of subcontractors and staff in terms of actual and planned task schedules and resource requirements
    Reviews work for quality assurance.


    • Provide direction on projects from inception through completion and provide technical and managerial assistance on all aspects of project management to comply with the technical requirements of the contract for the customer.
    • Compose memoranda, reports, and other documentation highlighting project steps and status for daily and weekly meetings with customer.
    • Attend meetings and makes presentations about project status and work commitments.
    • Ensure training of all staff members and instructs them on customer's methods, procedures, and standards.
    • Evaluate, develop, or implement procedures regarding project documentation and development.
    • Track materials, submit and track fabrication requests and support services
    Monitor material deliveries and identify long lead material items.


    • Track Liaison Action Request (LARs) and provide Level of Effort (LOE) estimates.
    • Troubleshoots technical problems and takes corrective action.
    • Reviews employee schedules and time-cards.
    • Control Manning and provide input for additional manning requirements and/or manning deficiencies
    Reallocate personnel as needed to support various tasks.


    • Participates in long-range planning, analysis, and program design.
    • Participates in the planning and design of new projects as requested.
    • Manage various installations on multiple vessels from Task Award to Task Completion.
    • Review, modify, and provide updates to support Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M).
    • Maintain Communication with task leads on staffing and material requirements
    Report possible changes and potential issues to PM that may affect cost and/or schedule.


    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have:


    • A high School Diploma
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
    • A minimum of 8 years experience as an Alteration Installation Team (AIT) Lead supporting C5ISR installation on-board Naval vessels.
    • Ability to work under pressure of deadlines with interruptions occurring regularly.
    • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products (including Microsoft Project) to use and create spreadsheets, reports, and presentations.
    • Ability to travel up to 10%
