    Description

    PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION


    The IT Project Coordinator works with the Leadership Team and Project Management Office to obtain the necessary resources to support the project and manage change required to achieve project objectives, maintain budget and realize benefits.

    JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES


    Duty 1:
    Manage departmental projects that impact technology; this includes work plans, resource management, project deliverables including project measurement post go live and communication plans

    Duty 2:
    Creates and manages projects through all gateways while ensuring all project elements are delivered

    Duty 3:
    Delivers a clear communication plan to all Stakeholders, Business Owners and Team Members; including but not limited to decision, risks, scope creep and deliverables

    Duty 4:
    Monitors overall project progress, including timeline, resources, risks and decisions, etc

    Duty 5:
    Works collaboratively with performance improvement and IT analysts through all phases of the project


    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
    Associate's degree in Information Technology, healthcare or related field.

    Strong organizational skills, with the ability to focus detailed concentrated effort to multiple projects and re-establish priorities as necessary. Ability to effectively respond to time sensitive issues and meet deadlines.

    Proficient in desktop applications, including MS Office (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and) and database management applications.

    Ability to adapt to changing technologies, regulations and healthcare practices.


    Ability to work well in a team, build relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization and manage risks effectively.

    Strong written and verbal communication skills.


    A valid driver's license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver's license you must obtain one within 30 days of your residency in the state).

    You must also meet BVHS's company fleet policy and insurance company requirements, and any other requirements that may be required to operate a vehicle.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    PMP, CAPM, or similar professional certification


    PHYSICAL DEMANDS
    The individual must have excellent verbal communication skills to perform daily tasks. The associate must have corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
