$125K - $135K, + 20% bonus eligible

We are pioneering a unique approach that combines pre-hospice care with a proprietary patient identification algorithm to offer comprehensive end-of-life solutions.
Our mission is to deliver exceptional care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of our patients and their families.
Position Overview We seek an energetic and resilient Executive Director with a passion for end-of-life care to lead our new hospice location from the ground up.
This role involves overseeing all program operations, from clinical excellence to strategic growth, ensuring we meet the highest standards of care and compliance.
The Executive Director will start as the first hire, tasked with building a dedicated team to support our mission in Warrenville, IL, and surrounding areas.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Strategy:
Craft and implement strategic plans to enhance service delivery, achieve growth objectives, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
Clinical Operations:
Ensure outstanding patient care while overseeing clinical operations, compliance, and quality improvement. Be prepared for patient-facing duties, especially during startup phases.
Team Development:
Lead recruitment, training, and development efforts to build a cohesive and skilled team, ready to deliver compassionate care.
Community Engagement:
Strengthen relationships with healthcare providers, community organizations, and stakeholders to enhance our hospice's reputation and reach.

Personality:
Energetic, determined, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in end-of-life care.
Experience:
Proven hospice management experience, familiarity with startup environments, and the ability to manage clinical and administrative operations effectively.
Skills:
Exceptional leadership, strategic planning, and relationship-building capabilities. Comfortable with both the clinical and administrative aspects of hospice care.
Qualifications:
RN license in Illinois (preferred), BSN (preferred), Master's in a related field (a plus), and CPR certification.
