Job Title: Bilingual Sous Chef (Spanish Speaking)

Location: Aloha Tower Area, Hawaii

Salary Range: $55,000 - $72,000 per year

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials that reflect the diverse culinary traditions of Hawaii
• Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste
• Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining quality
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar leadership role
• Fluency in both English and Spanish is required
• Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
