    HEADLINE: Philadelphia, PA (desirable suburb): Several BE/BC Anesthesiologists (general and sub-specialty trained) needed to work for a full-service community hospital. They currently have five anesthesiologists on staff. They perform a high volume of surgery. $ Starting base salary range: $ 350,000 to $ 450,000. Complete fringe benefits package. $ Excellent earning potential

    LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA

    PRACTICE OPPORTUNITY:

  • Several BE/BC Anesthesiologists are needed to work for a full-service and well-regarded general, medical, and surgical community hospital. (Hospital information is described in a separate section below.)
  • Both general and sub-specialty trained Anesthesiologists will all be considered and are welcome to apply.
  • They currently have five busy general anesthesiologists on staff.
  • They perform a high volume of surgery.
  • Their office is located only five minutes to their hospital.
  • These new Anesthesiology positions are due to growth and expansion and trying to meet the demands and needs of their growing patient population.

  • Call Schedule for Weekdays and Weekends: It will be 1:6. (The call rotation will depend upon the number of anesthesiologists they hire.)
  • They have an excellent support staff provided by both Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and CRNAs.
  • Availability: General Anesthesiology Residents and sub-specialty trained fellows who will be completing their training during June of 2024 and 2025, as well as General Anesthesiologists and sub-specialty trained Anesthesiologists who already have work experience will all be strongly considered and are welcome to apply.

  • Their emergency services department is equipped to handle all types of emergencies from pediatric to geriatric care.
  • They have a free standing surgery center and six ambulatory sites.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Administer pain relief before, during and after medical procedures
  • Monitor patients vital signs during procedures
  • Supervise anesthesia assistants and CRNAs
  • Approve general sedative, regional, and local anesthetics
  • Review medical files and lab results
  • Inform patients of risks associated with anesthesia
  • Comply with medical and hospital procedures

    FINANCIAL COMPENSATION:

  • This full-service and well-regarded general, medical, and surgical community hospital is offering a very competitive financial compensation package, which includes (but is not limited to):
  • The starting base salary range is from $350,000 to $450,000. It will be commensurate with the Anesthesiologist's experience -- i.e., new graduate versus a physician who already has work experience, etc.
