    Registered Nurse (RN)

    The primary purpose of a Registered Nurse's position is to provide each of the residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with each resident's assessments and care plan.


    Registered Nurse (RN)

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    Works using the guidelines established from the Nurse Practice Act and Policies and Procedures and nursing judgement

    Assesses, plans, and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitation care

    Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term or rehabilitative care

    Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response

    Directs and supervises care given by other nursing personnel

    Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care

    Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements

    Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use

    Maintains confidentiality and patient/resident rights, regarding all patient/resident personnel information

    Provides patient/resident/family caregiver education as directed

    Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies

    May be required to oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)

    Other duties as assigned

    Registered Nurse (RN)

    Education and Experience Requirements:
    Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date

    Must be CPR certified

    Previous experience in long-term care is preferred

    Compassionate and empathetic personality

    Physical Demands:
    Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday

    Must be able to push, pull move and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet

    May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations

    The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

    Pay/Incentives


    of position:
    $5,000 Sign on Bonus

    Base pay $45 all shifts ($3-$5 shift differential based on experience for 3p-11p & 11p-7a shifts)

    $125 bonus for picking up shifts for full 8 hours
