Description

We are seeking a full time remote Home Health and Hospice Coding Specialist, OASIS HCS-D or COS-C required as well as ICD-10 certification.

Must be a licensed RN, PT, or OT to qualify.

RequirementsMust be OASIS HCS-D or COS-C certifiedICD-10 certification and OASIS certification required Current Michigan Licensed RN, PT, or OT (1 year nursing experience preferred)Training or experience beyond a traditional education in home health/hospice care, coding, quality assurance, case management, or leadership.

Communicates regularly with clinical staff and provides ongoing education. Assists the Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Clinical Managers in implementing the agency's Quality Assurance Performance Improvement programs.

Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life spanAble to assess data reflecting the client's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each client's requirements relative to their age-specific needsDemonstrates computer skills sufficient to use the electronic medical record effectivelySkilled home care and/or hospice experience preferred.

Working knowledge of Homecare Homebase highly preferred
