    **Description**

    Star Tribune is currently seeking a full-time custodian to provide various general housekeeping and industrial cleaning at our Heritage production facility.

    **Key Responsibilities**May be assigned to any custodial task at the Heritage production facility, including but not limited to:

    General cleaning, dusting, washing, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and restroom cleaning

    Operating floor machines for cleaning, waxing, and buffing

    Outdoor lawn/grounds maintenance and snow removal

    Trash removal, recycling and compacting

    Machine cleaning as assigned

    Moving and rearranging furniture as needed

    **Qualifications**

    Previous custodial experience required; manufacturing setting preferred

    High school diploma preferred

    Ability to read and comply with safety signs and procedures

    Knowledge and understanding of safety and environmental rules as it applies to cleaning chemicals

    Must provide exceptional customer service to all plant employees

    Ability to take direction as needed

    Must be able to climb stairs and ladders and lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis

    Operate motorized dollies, floor cleaning equipment, lawnmowers, and snow removal equipment

    Requires ability to frequently bend, kneel, and squat

    Must be vaccinated against COVID-19 or granted an accommodation based on disability or sincerely held religious belief

    Schedule: *Full-time. 7 hours per day/35-hour work week. Shifts and start times vary.*

    Pay: *This is a union position with a starting pay of **$17.08/hr.***

    *All job offers are contingent on the successful completion of a pre-placement drug screen, employment verification and criminal background check.*
