    Description

    Kennedys is a global law firm with expertise in dispute resolution and advisory services. We're seeking a Subpoena Clerk to join our US Team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assist lawyers and paralegals with preparing subpoenas and processing in final format to process servers
    • Maintain subpoena and medical records log
    • Comply with Request for Copies received and provide copies of responses received to counsel as required
    • Conduct follow-up calls to ensure timely return of responses and efficiently track status of subpoenas issued
    • Follow up with attorneys regarding the status of subpoena requests
    • Process invoices with finance team and provide required documentation as needed
    • Process medical authorizations and HIPAA forms with medical facilities
    • Properly document tasks in a timely and efficient manner
    • Keep cases organized by establishing and organizing a file system, monitoring calendars, documenting actions, and inputting information into file database and case management software

    Required Experience

    • Must have at least 1-2 years of experience as a subpoena clerk
    • Familiarity with legal procedures & terminology
    • Knowledge of Florida state e-filing
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills
    • Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
