- The ability to independently configure Linux and Windows computers.
- The ability to independently configure Cisco routers and wireless networks.
- The ability to build, test, and run ethernet cable.
- The ability to test and verify all computer systems functions and troubleshoot as needed.
- The ability to independently debug and fix problems with the network, computer hardware, computer software, and audio/video equipment.
- The ability to independently verify configurations and IA assurances.
- Assist TAC and AARP sections with their system set up and configurations.
- Attend After Action Reviews (AARs) for troubleshooting and general help.
- Reports to the I&C Lead internally and the NOC Chief operationally.
- US Citizen
- Ability to pass a background check
- Available 8 to 27 July, 2024.
- Prior XCTC FAE / AFAE experience, and/or 3-5 years commensurate civilian database / IT / Network experience.
- Understanding of Linux commands.
- Position requires close customer contact, the ability to work independently and creatively.
- Successful candidates must exhibit the ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues and senior government officials.
- Must be proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
