- Following training and qualification, maintain high level of expertise on motor operated valve and air operated valve mechanics and capabilities.
- Develop test instructions, follow in-field testing, and analyze test results.
- Drive best frequency for valve maintenance and testing.
- Ensure code required testing performed on time and all required acceptance criteria are met.
- Innovate and advocate for improvements to the programs and equipment.
- Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision applying general engineering principles.
- Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, engineering specifications and all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the development and implementation of effective processes and techniques at appropriate levels of detail and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Recommend format and methodology improvements to standard processes and procedures.
- B.S in Engineering
- B.S. in Engineering and 2+ years Nuclear or related engineering experience
- B.S. in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer and 5+ years engineering experience
- Engineer in training certification
- Good grasp of techniques and a good understanding of the fundamental functions performed by the group

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under general supervision, in support of the Motor Operated Valves (MOVs) and Air Operated Valves (AOVs) Programs.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
*This Engineering role can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level*
Expected salary range:
Entry Level - $72K -$80K
Mid-Level - $88,200 - $108,000
Sr Level - $115,200- $141,000
Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.
