    Description:


    The Department of Pediatrics, Section of Pulmonology at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans is seeking a full-time academic pediatric pulmonologist at the rank of Professor to join our faculty group as the Constance S.

    Kaufman Chair in Pediatric Pulmonology.
    Tulane Pediatrics is committed to providing excellence in education, clinical care, and research. The selected candidate will become actively involved in all aspects of teaching including training medical students and residents.

    As a University employed faculty member, you will receive a negotiable salary commensurate with experience, and a fully comprehensive benefits package.


    Qualifications:


    The successful candidate must have a sustained national or international reputation as a leader and innovator in a clinical field; must have a sustained record and current funding as a principal investigator on federal, industry or foundation grants and may also play a key role as a co-investigator and demonstrate contributions of critical expertise to multiple studies.

    The candidate will possess outstanding leadership ability and excellent interpersonal skills. Candidate will have already achieved Professor level academic rank at their current institution.

    This position will on the non-tenure eligible track and the candidate should be MD or MD/PhD, board-certified and fellowship trained in Pediatric Pulmonary.

    Candidate must be eligible to practice medicine in Louisiana.
