    About the position :

    Seeking an R&D leader with a history of engineering and supporting (1) interoperability for enterprise Supply Chain solutions ,and, 'composable journeys', of migrating from enterprise on-prem software to Microservices based SaaS.

    The VP, Product Development for Blue Yonder' s 'End-to
    • End Solution Engineering & Incubation Cloud' organization, will lead the technology and delivery of our products in a SaaS model, driving innovation and value for our expanding Global customers He/She will have overall responsibility for the planning and delivery across a broad set of R&D Initiatives, potentially for a whole product suite.
    This includes all aspects of the initiative, from initial planning to final delivery.

    Manages the teams associated with the Initiative, including recruiting and managing resources for the project, as well as coaching and mentoring members of the team to progress on their career paths.

    He/She will coordinates with key constituents outside of PD including PMG, Sales, Support, Services, and customers, and also participate in more strategic planning of project evolution in alignment with overall PD and corporate goals.

    The ideal candidate will have strong technology and Supply Chain expertise with the ability to apply emerging technologies to deliver to our vision of the Autonomous Supply Chain Operating System of the WorldWhat you'll do:

    Strategy/Vision/ Plan:

    Build and Grow a highly motivated product development teams on enterprise SaaS InterOperabilityBuild plans and capability to deliver against corporate objectives and strategies.

    Work with Segment and Finance leaders to define and manage to a departmental budget. Manage the development calendar deadlines for critical approvals. Communicate critical metrics to Executive team.
    Play a vital role in managing relationships with outside stakeholders and across BY departments.

    Work closely with other members of product development and product management teams to develop, implement, monitor, and adapt annual strategic business plan.

    Manage all aspects of the product development lifecycle from strategy, planning, design, development, launch, and maturation including Non Functional RequirementsIdentify and drive new opportunities for growth including new products, technologies, innovations, and partnershipsAnalyze and recommend build vs buy vs partner strategies to grow the businessProvide leadership to ensure success in executing against vision, strategy, and plansExecute/Deliver:
    Lead teams to implement critical programs/projects/initiative and roadmap items, develop key metrics, and monitor and measure results. Provide course corrections as needed.

    Ensure Product Development team is effectively integrated with key internal & external stakeholders with clear accountabilities, deliverables and measures, and that process improvement opportunities are identified and enacted.

    Deliver to a roadmap that strengthens and grows Blue Yonder's market shareDevelop appropriate processes and roadmaps including technology, hiring plans, training requirements, and staffingResponsible for complete end-to-end project management including release planning, delivery, monitoring progress, and reportingDrive consensus across multiple inputs to a common goal and make decisionsEngage actively with global customers to establish partnerships, address issues, support implementations, communicate vision and direction, and engage in joint roadmap planningIdentify, drive, manage and engage with potential partnerships spanning technology, data, sales, and consulting companiesInspire/Evangelize: Build and grow highly skilled, cross-functional engineering teams across the globeCommunicate strategic technology direction and roadmap internally and externallySupport key, strategic customer engagements and adoption of new innovationsFoster a customer-first culture where customer success is at the center of all strategies and decisionsResponsible for leading, managing, developing, coaching, and mentoring a global teamPromote professional growth and learning for team members by facilitating access to training and conferencesOur current technical environment: Environment : Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Kafka, Azure Event Hub, React; Legacy : Mulesoft, Control-M,Storage : Azure SQL, CloudSQL, Azure Data Lake, Elastic Search, Oracle, SQL ServerBuild/Deploy : Multi-tenant, Continuous Delivery, Git, GitHub Actions, JenkinsWhat we are looking for: Bachelor's degree in STEM (Master's preferred)15+ years experience in Systems Integration Software development and Implementation10+ years experience doing Software Development in SaaS (Azure is a plus) and microservices5+ years in leadership roles with focus on product development and enterprise solution deliveryStrong supply chain knowledge and expertise.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to inspire the team but still grounded in Technology.
    Risk identification and Assessment as it relates to enterprise solutions.
    History of building strong and resilient teams and leaders.

    Experience managing budgets and forecasts with ability to make trade-offs according to prioritiesStrong collaboration skills, driving many different people and departments to align to common goals and vision; ability to build consensus across disparate teamsResults driven; resourceful and able to manage shifting prioritiesEffective balance of strategic thinking and detail orientedAbility to motivate a large, global organizationIdentifies with Blue Yonder's core values of relentless, results and teamwork*LI-SR1The salary for this position is $180,722 - $275,639The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.

    Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.

    In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
